Change in management at Henke-Sass, Wolf

As of May 6, 2026, Markus Maus will take over as Managing Director at Henke-Sass, Wolf's headquarters in Tuttlingen. Together with Michael Appl, who will remain in his current role as Managing Director, Mr. Maus will be responsible for the company’s future development. At the same time, Henner Witte, who has played a key role in shaping the company over the past four years, will officially retire on June 30, 2026.

With Mr. Maus, an experienced business leader is returning to the company’s roots. Until recently, he successfully managed the operations of the U.S. subsidiary Henke-Sass, Wolf of America. He is now taking charge at the headquarters in Tuttlingen and will continue to drive the company’s future development together with Mr. Appl and the management team.

Upon his arrival, Mr. Maus was personally welcomed by shareholders Kathrin McKenna and Nina Stackmann, Managing Director Michael Appl, and all department directors. The company recognized both his arrival in Tuttlingen and his achievements to date within the international group.

At the same time, the company recognizes the contributions of Mr. Witte, who has led Henke-Sass, Wolf over the past few years with great dedication, foresight, and entrepreneurial responsibility. Under his leadership, important strategic decisions were made, and the corporate group was sustainably expanded and strengthened.

“Mr. Witte has had a decisive influence on the development of our company and has contributed significantly to its current success. We express our deep gratitude and highest appreciation for his dedication and achievements,” stated the company’s management.

Until his official retirement at the end of June, Mr. Witte will continue to support the transition and ensure a smooth handover of his responsibilities.

With this change in leadership, Henke-Sass, Wolf is focusing equally on continuity and a forward-looking approach, combined with the goal of pursuing the company’s successful development both nationally and internationally.
