Henke-Sass, Wolf acquires Gladius Importação e Exportação LTDA - Strategic expansion into Latin America strengthens market presence in medical and veterinary technology.
On July 14, 2025, Henke-Sass, Wolf GmbH acquired the Brazilian company Gladius Importação e Exportação LTDA, based in Novo Hamburgo, Brazil. Founded in 2011, the company specializes in the sale and repair of medical instruments and endoscopes. Felipe Fisch and Markus Maus will take over the management.
With this acquisition, Henke-Sass, Wolf is sustainably strengthening its market presence in Latin America. The new location will serve as a hub for expanding activities in the Mercosur countries and aims to improve customer proximity, strengthen local sales of medical endoscopes, and offer services directly in the region.
In addition, new opportunities are also emerging to further develop the veterinary medicine business segment: In the future, the new company will be responsible for both distribution and direct sales in the dynamically growing animal health market.
