Henner Witte is the new CEO of the Henke-Sass, Wolf Group

The medical technology manufacturer Henke-Sass, Wolf (HSW) is getting a new CEO: On Tuesday, March 1, 2022, Henner Witte was appointed the new managing director of the group of companies. The 60-year-old industrial engineer completes the management team around Silke Hartmann and Dr. Markus Westhues.

Witte is taking over the four marketing and sales departments, research and development as well as the areas of regulatory affairs, project management and corporate communications from Executive Partner Kathrin McKenna, who has been in charge of these areas on an interim basis since mid-September 2021. "We are very pleased that we have succeeded in winning Henner Witte, an experienced manager from the medical technology industry," explains Kathrin McKenna.

In addition, Witte, together with the co-CEOs Silke Hartmann and Dr. Markus Westhues, is not only responsible for the headquarters in Tuttlingen, but also for the subsidiaries in Seitingen-Oberflacht, Berlin, Göttingen, Poland, China and the USA. Henner Witte has many years of experience in the medical technology sector. Since February 2008 he has been managing director of Biberach's KaVo Dental GmbH and Kerr Dental GmbH, including all subsidiaries and affiliated companies. Before that, he had been able to gain extensive experience in international sales in several companies since the early 1990s. "This mixture of international sales experience and a feeling for the DNA of a southern German medical technology manufacturer provides excellent prerequisites for managing the Henke-Sass, Wolf Group in the coming years and accompanying it on its growth course," confirms Kathrin McKenna.

"Henke-Sass, Wolf is still on the road of success despite all the challenges posed by the pandemic," explains co-managing director Silke Hartmann. "In the 2020/2021 financial year, the group of companies was able to record total sales of more than 200 million euros for the first time - this is a very good basis for further developing the company together." Markus Westhues is positive about the future. “Exciting challenges await us on our path of growth in the coming months and years. That is why we are pleased that with Henner Witte we can welcome a colleague to the team who can use his sales experience profitably.”

The departmental structure within the management remains unchanged: Silke Hartmann has been in charge of purchasing, human resources, controlling, financial accounting and IT since July 2019. dr Markus Westhues has been responsible for production, quality management and logistics at the medium-sized company since September 2020.
